Baby Coat Tree

Unbeknownst to us, my mom commissioned my dad to build baby jacket storage:

Coat Tree lily by the Coat Tree

A mini coat tree, to be precise! It's the cutest little thing, and SO needed on our closet-less first floor. It's solid oak with brushed satin hardware. And just in case you're not quite sure how big it is, here's a comparison:

Coat Trees, Fully Loaded

I told my dad he should go into business building these. Any buyers...?

Master Bath Trim

Finishing the trim above the wall tiles in the master bath has been on our to-do list for quite some time now. It was just one of those little things that didn't seem to matter much. We could still use the bathroom without trim. It still looked nice without trim.

Finally, Ryan could take it no more. So now, we have trim over our tiles.

Now, the ball's in my court to fill all the nail holes and edges; work my magic like I did on allll the rest of the trim in the house. That seems like YEARS ago now. Oh wait, it was.

Here's the view from a little farther away:

This wall color is always so hard to photograph. I'd say the top photo is most accurate.

Once I fill the holes and Ryan slaps some more paint over them, all we'll have left to do in here is bug someone to shorten the curtains for us (kind of hard to do without a sewing machine) and put some actual decorations up on the walls over the tub.

Or a couple flat screens. Either way.
